Tear Drop Standing Liberty Quarter Error


Tear Drop die errors are found and certified on many of the Standing Liberty Quarters. The die cracked leaving a portion of Lady Liberties gown cut into what appears to be a teardrop or a clothing tear. Seen in image attached.

Mint mark is located on the front (obverse) on the bottom between the date and the last star. D (Denver) and S (San Francisco) mint marks are present. If not mint mark it means the coin was minted in Philadelphia
