Who is on the Lincoln Penny Coin?
President Lincoln is featured prominently on the obverse (front) of the Lincoln Cent, also called the Lincoln Penny. The Penny is the first widely distributed coin to feature an American President. Previously coin faces were reserved for Kings, Queens, and Royalty.
