Aluminum Cent Lincoln Penny Error
The 1977 Aluminum Lincoln Cent is some sort of anomaly in the coin community. It's one of a kind and no one knows exactly how it came to be. Some speculate it was an error created on purpose, others that it was a test concept similar to the 1974 Aluminum Lincoln Cent that somehow made it's way into circulation. Whatever the case may be it's a penny worth roughly $300,000+ that's 300 thousand dollars, for something that is usually valued at just .01
