On the coins reverse directly in the center. The mint mark will be below the eagle holding arrows and an olive branch. Also directly above the One Dol lettering.
The coin is based on the Gobrecht dollar. The obverse is said to be a seated representation of Liberty herself. So in this case there was no model used, but rather the lady is based off the concept of liberty. Lady liberty is often seen holding a flag as in the attached photo.
